Pastor Myrtle Townsend Pastor Myrtle Townsend, is a native of Chicago, IL and is presently serving as Co-Pastor of Living Water Christian Center in Illinois where she serves with her husband, Edward Townsend, Senior Pastor. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, speaker, writer, entrepreneur and a woman of prayer. She is president of LWCC women's ministry GLORIOUS www.gloriouswomen.net. Pastor Myrtle answered the call of God and dedicated her life to work for the Kingdom. Several years later she was ordained as an Evangelist, preaching and teaching the word of God with power under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Prayer is an essential and vital part of Pastor Myrtle's life. She believes that prayer and communicating with God is our course to destiny. One of her favorite scriptures is Ephesians 4:7 …unto everyone of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Her hunger and thirst increased for the Word of God as she pursued His will for her life. She has a love for God’s people and compassion to see the bound set free. Pastor Myrtle has devoted time helping women in shelters that house battered women with children. Pastor Myrtle ministers healing, restoration and hope to women of all ages from her own life's experience. She shares the love of God and His mercy in her messages that set her free from the past. She has the heart of God to see souls come to Christ, believers encouraged and to see our young people become a vital part of God’s instruments upon the earth Pastors Edward and Myrtle Townsend are submitted to the spiritural leadership of Bishop I.V. and Dr. Bridget Hilliard of New Light Church in Houston, Texas. |
